April 26, 2024 – Megat Dewa : His Royal Highness Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, Raja Muda Kedah agreed to perform Friday prayers at Masjid Jamek As-Salam, Kariah Megat Dewa, Kubang Pasu District.
The arrival of His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Tuan Haji Muhammad Radhi bin Haji Mat Din, EXCO of the Kedah State Government representing YAB Menteri Besar Kedah; Sohibus Samahah Dato' Paduka Sheikh Fadzil Bin Haji Awang, Mufti of Kedah; Yang Berhormat Dato' Haji Syed Khairol Anuar bin Syed Abidin, Kedah State Finance Officer; Yang Berbahagia Dato' Dr. Haji Abd. Ghani @ Zulkifli bin Haji Zainudin, Director of Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Negeri Kedah, Yang Dihormati Dato' Fisol bin Salleh, Kedah State Police Chief and Sheikh Muhammad Suhaimi bin Saleh, District Religious Officer of Kubang Pasu as well as other dignitaries.
Friday sermon delivered by imam, Ustaz Abdul Nasir bin Abdul Ghani. The essence of the sermon calls upon parents to educate their children based on Islamic guidance.
"The process of educating children cannot be taken for granted. The failure of educating children were the result from parent's ignorance, negligence and weakness that led to a weaker generation, strayed away from the humanity and becoming a nuisance in the society and religion"
After the Friday Prayer, His Royal Highness Raja Muda Kedah consented to have a commemorative photo session with government officials and mosque committee members.
