Alor Setar – 10 April 2024: His Royal Highness Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, Sultan of Kedah Darul Aman and Her Royal Highness Sultanah Maliha Binti Almarhum Tengku Ariff, Sultanah of Kedah Darul Aman consented to perform the Hari Raya Aidilfitri prayer at Masjid Zahir.
Arrived together, His Royal Highness Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, Raja Muda Kedah; Her Royal Highness Che Puan Muda Zaheeda Binti Mohamad Ariff, Raja Puan Muda Kedah; His Highness Tunku Shazuddin Ariff Ibni Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, Tunku Mahkota Kedah and Her Highness Che Puan Nur Julie Ariff, Tunku Puan Mahkota Kedah.
Also attended, Her Highness Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz, Tunku Temenggong Kedah; His Highness Tunku Sulaiman Badlishah, Grandson of His Royal Highness Sultan of Kedah.
The arrival of Kedah Royal Family were greeted by Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Haji Muhammad Sanusi Bin Md Nor, Menteri Besar Kedah and wife, Yang Berbahagia Tok Puan Jusmalailani Binti Jusoh; Yang Berhormat Dato' Seri Haji Norizan Bin Khazali, Secretary of Kedah State Government and wife, Datin Seri Norhasni Binti Ishak; as well as name other dignitaries.
His Royal Highness Sultan, Sultanah together with the others performed the prayer led by Imam Besar Masjid Zahir, and continued with the sermon recitation for Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Sermon entitled "Salam Disahut Tangan Disambut" that highlighted the Muslims to have good manners on the roads.
After the sermon recitation session ended, His Royal Highness consented to give duit raya to the children and kids attended the prayer before leaving Masjid Zahir.
