The arrival of His Royal Highness Raja Muda Kedah were greeted by Yang Berhormat Tuan Haji Zubir Bin Ahmad (Kedah DUN Speaker representing YAB Menteri Besar Kedah), Sohibus Samahah Dato' Paduka Syeikh Fadzil Bin Haji Awang (Kedah State Mufti), Yang Amat Arif Dato' Syeikh Abd Rahman Bin Abdullah (Chief Syarie Judge of Kedah Darul Aman), Yang Berbahagia Dato' Dr Haji Abdul Ghani @ Zulkifli Bin Zainuddin (MAIK Secretary), Yang Berusaha Tuan Illias Bin Shuib (District Officer Kuala Muda), Yang Dihormati CP Dato' Fisol Bin Salleh (Kedah Police Chief), Yang Berbahagia Dato' Haji Zakaria bin Othman (Chief Executive Officer of Lembaga Zakat Negeri Kedah) as well as officers and staff of Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Kedah.

 

His Royal Highness Raja Muda Kedah agrees to present the donation of Hari Raya Aidilfitri for the year 1444H/2024M in the form of cash and "kuih raya" to 120 recipients from kariah Masjid Al Majidi Sungai Layar consists of single mothers, orphans, poor and chronic patients with an allocation of RM48,000.00 given by Baitulmal Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Kedah. This Hari Raya Aidilfitri donation is a symbolic of Hari Raya aid that was given by Baitulmal MAIK every year.

 

The total allocation for the donation of Hari Raya Aidilfitri in the State of Kedah this year amounting as much as RM636,000.00 and being distributed to the poor and needed through the cooperation from the mosques in the State of Kedah.

 

His Royal Highness also consented to present a donation check worth RM10,000.00 to Masjid Al Majidi Sungai Layar and complete a photo session with Members of Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Kedah and Masjid Al Majidi Sungai Layar Committee Members before leaving at 11.30 am and followed by the return of other dignitaries and staff from Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Kedah.
