Alor Setar (29 MARCH 2024): His Royal Highness Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, Raja Muda Kedah agreed to perform Friday prayers at Masjid Al Ummah, Alor Setar Kedah here today.

The arrival of His Royal Highness Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah was greeted by Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Haji Muhammad Sanusi Bin Md Nor, (Menteri Besar Kedah), Yang Berhormat Dr Ahmad Fakhruddin bin Fakhrurrazi (Member of Parliament for Kuala Kedah), Yang Berhormat Dato' Seri Haji Norizan Bin Khazali (Kedah State Secretary), Yang Berhormat Dato' Syed Khairol Bin Syed Abidin (Kedah State Finance Officer) Yang Berhormat Ustaz Azam Bin Samat (Chairman of the Education, Religion, Communication and Information Committee), Sohibus Samahah Dato' Paduka Syeikh Fadzil Bin Hj Awang (Kedah State Mufti), Yang Amat Arif Dato' Syeikh Abd Rahman Bin Abdullah (Chief Syarie Judge of Kedah State) Yang Berbahagia Dato' Dr Haji Abd Ghani @ Zulkifli bin Haji Zainuddin (Secretary of Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Kedah) Yang Berbahagia Tuan Haji Hakim Ariff Bin Md Noor (District Officer of Kota Setar), Yang Berbahagia Dato' Syeikh Ismi Anuar Bin Abdul Halim (JHEAIK Deputy Director of Operations), Yang Berbahagia Tuan Syeikh Mohd Noor Ismardi Bin Ismail (District Religious Officer of Kota Setar) as well as other dignitaries.

Yang Berusaha Mohd Nazimi Zaim bin Ismail, Imam Masjid Al Ummah delivered a sermon titled “Keagungan dan kesucian dipertahankan’. During the last rak'ah of the Friday Prayer, Imam also read qunut nazilah in solidarity against cruelty done upon the Palestinian.

After performing the Friday Prayer, His Royal Highness Raja Muda Kedah consented to have a commemorative portrait together with the attended dignitaries and Committee Members of the Masjid Al Ummah Kuala Kedah.

His Royal Highness left for home at 2.30 pm followed by the return of other dignitaries.
